Kaufman County Outer Loop Planning Underway

The Kaufman County Outer Loop is a proposed regional roadway project intended to improve mobility and connectivity across Kaufman County and the eastern Dallas Fort Worth area. According to official project information from the Kaufman County Outer Loop website and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), the project is currently in the planning and environmental study phase, which includes evaluating potential roadway alignments, refining alternatives, and holding public meetings to gather input; construction has not yet begun and the project remains unfunded until future funding is secured.
